Proxy Error 502

Hi,

I am having a few problems testing an Express Checkout Digital Goods code that I generated from the Integration Wizard. I've created an API for my test account but when I test it out on my system, I get this error: -

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /webapps/checkout/webflow/sparta/expresscheckoutincontextinitflow.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

I'm not sure how to overcome this as I have followed all the instructions given to me. Can you help?

Thanks,

Freddie

Hi Freddie,

It is nothing you have done, it seems the PayPal sandbox is down. I was trying to test my third party shopping cart on our web site (which was working fine Friday) and now it returns an error.

When I go to the 'Test Accounts Section' of the sandbox and click 'Enter Sandbox Test Site' I get excatly the information you have shown above.

Seems a little silly to have it down on a sunday, when those of us that would have the time to test new things would do it at the weekend as we work all week, lol.

They do say on there Site Staus Updates page the following,

'Payflow Gateway scheduled maintenance window: the first and the third Sunday of the month from 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. PT'

However, I am not sure if that would affect the sandbox, and even so it has now gone 09:30am paciffic time.

Sorry cannot have been more helpful, hopefully they will sort it very soon.

All the best,

Gary.

OK, so I can now log in to the test accounts on sandbox, however, the PDT data is not being sent back to my web site.

The $res is null or empty. I have checked the $auth_token and it is correct and all setting in the test business account are correct!

Some data, the TX, status and amount are being sent back in the URL though, so I am confused.
