Hello everyone,
I recently moved money from my bank account to my paypal account which went through with no issues at all. I then proceeded to send some of the money (about 2/3 of it) to a friend. However when I sent the money (and the small fee for conversation rates) all of the money in my paypal had gone which as a lot more than I confirmed to have sent.
I then receive an email stating that the money sent from my bank account to my paypal had been returned to my bank account due to a processing error; however the money I had sent to my friend has been completed. I had also received an email confirming that the payment to my friend had been completed at the same time as the processing error email.
A few minutes later I receive another email stating that the original amount of money I was sending from my bank account, to my paypal, has completed with the exact balance shown in my paypal account. This also appearred on the overview/activity list (along with the payment sent to my friend and the first bank account transfer).
What I'm asking is: has paypal charged me double the amount? has the money gone through to my friend? and will this all be laid out on my paypal or bank account summary?

You would need someone to look at your account and the transactions. Only customer support can do that.
