I put wrong email address in to eBay, payments have been sent to someone else who is ignoring me!

I sold three things on eBay last month, I put my wrong email address into PayPal - how do I get my money back from this other paypal user with a very similar email address?
PayPal are being very unhelpful and giving conflicting advice and NOT following up or doing what they said they would to help me.

Paypal cannot "take" money from another users paypal account without a dispute being raised.
If your buyers payments have been completed but they have not received their items then they can file for item not received via the resolution tab in their paypal account...(.as the other user obviously has nothing to send them)..... then they can escalate to a dispute to get their money back.
Whether they decide to pay you again is up to them but as a buyer i would be a tad concerned that a seller had put me to all that bother cus they could not imput their email addy correctly on their auctions.

They have received their items already. I have 100% feedback since 2002, I make one mistake and you say that people shouldnt deal with me anymore. Thanks again.

I didn't say paypal should not deal with you, I said paypal won't deal with you as they can't dip into anothers paypal account and help themselves.....there is a difference.
I would love to say everything will be fine but do you want the truth or a version that makes you feel good??
Its a shame the items were posted as you could have at least kept the items and the buyers would have got their money back from the other person via a dispute.
All you can do now is keep emailing the other account holder and ask if he will use the refund option to return your payments.
