How long till my payments stop getting held?

Hi Guys.

I've been an ebay and paypal member for quite a while now, selling stuff on once or twice every month or so...

Then in early december, I decided to start selling alot more through Ebay to try and generate a second income.

All went well for the first 15-25 days, I made my sales, received the funds from the buyer and and shipped the product out to them within the 2-3 days - without fail for every sale.

I received positive feedback for the majority of the sales, showing that the products where indeed getting shipped out after i received the funds.

Then i started getting payment holds on my sales, early january time - for the reason of increased activity in my paypal account.. As much as an inconvenience this was, as it majorly delays the shipping of the item, I understood the reasoning behind this, to try and prevent people running away with the cash without shipping the item.

My question is now though, is when will my payments stop getting held due to increased activity, as surely 2 months later it is no longer increased activity, it's just usual for my account. - I personally thought that after about 2 weeks of payment holding then my account would resort back to how it was originally.

If my payments stop getting held, it would make things run alot smoother and be alot easier for me when shipping items out. I have never once receieved bad feedback also, showing that I am genuine.. So how can I get my payments stopped from being held?

Appreciate any comments as soon as possible 🙂

Cheers guys, sorry for rambling on a bit!

I've just sold my 6th item on eBay, with payment going through PayPal. With The previous 5 items, the payment/funds were released as soon as the buyer paid, however on the sale of my 6th item I see payment pending on my item. After reading some of these fourums, it seems PayPal do this not for "THE SAFETY" nonsense but to make you go premium. :-(. I thought I wasn't trusted anymore, even though recieved positive feed back from previous items. This keeping MY money for 21 days nonsense is a joke.
