Egg Timer Symbol - Have a reciept

Hi,

I have "paid" for a product, got an email saying from ebay that the payment had been confirmed however the item has an egg timer next to it and the ebay seller is complaining that I have not paid for the item. Just wondering if anyone has been through the same thing and if they have any advice on how to solve the product.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE AN EMAIL PROBLEM  CAUSED BY THE SELLER....TELL HER TO DO THIS.

Go and find the transaction in her “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes?

I EXPECT SHE WILL FIND THERE IS A MISTAKE SO TELL HER TO COME HERE FOR THE SOLUTION.

By the way does it state unclaimed with or without a cancel option in your paypal account next to the transaction??

yes it has a cancel button where it says unclaimed

If the PayPal status is Unclaimed and there is a Cancel button next to the transaction on the Overview page, then the payment has been sent to an email address that is not associated with the seller’s PayPal account.

So the seller has defo made a mistake with their email addy.

You may just as well cancel the payment as it is not going anywhere.

BUT as it will already have started processing from your funding source it will take a few days to return there.

Then you can either sort it with the seller or you can buy elsewhere if your seller is not being helpful.

i have the same problem, sold an item the buyer said they paid but when i clicked onto it it has an egg time saying payment is in process???
