Do I need to have my card connected to my paypal account in order to order stuff online?

Paypal is declining my card

therefore need to get a new card.

They have admitted that this has been there mistake.

While im waiting for this card there is no card connected to my PayPal account.

Can i still order stuff online?

If you don't have a funding source either a card or a bank account attached to your paypal account then no UNLESS you already have cleared funds in your paypal balance.
