where is my money?

i initiated a withdrawal of £605 from m paypal account on tuesday 8th at 0755 this money has not reached my account, it is now the 10th, paypal have failed to transfer the money in the time frame that they state, i paid £5 for a 1-2 day transfer they have exceeded the limit and the money has still not reached my bank account yet an ordinary transfer that i made on the same day has reached my bank account, so what has happened to my money? and will i get my £5.00 back?

I transferred £403 to my bank account on Tuesday 8th May at 7.39 and payed the £5 to get it to my account quicker. Still not received my money. Paypal blaimed my bank also, this needs sorting straight away. Its not fair, this is our income.

What is going on?

I have just spoken to Barclays and they say that the problem is with Citibank (paypal do not send straight to your bank), Citibank will not talk to me, where do we go from here? Answers on a postcard

Just received this message from paypal...It would seem we can do nothing for the next 14 working days!

 

 

Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding the wire transfer made from your PayPal account to your bank account,
I appreciate the time you've taken to bring this matter to my attention. I understand that these funds have not yet arrived into your bank account.
I have looked into this matter for you and I can see that we have sent these funds across to your bank's clearing house within half an hour of your placing the request with us.
As this process can take the full 2 working days at times, I would expect to see these funds clear onto your bank balance by the close of business tonight. Should these funds not arrive in your account, we can place a trace on these funds but we have to allow 14 working days before we can do this. This is to allow time for any processing errors which may have the funds returned back to us.
If this is required, please contact us once more with a copy of your bank statement dated the 8th of May 2012 onwards to aid us in tracing these funds for you.
Thank you for your time.
I have sent a message back saying:
Perhaps you might want to take a look at the community forum. It would seem that there are lots of people in the same position and that many others who transferred money at the same time have yet to receive their payments. I believe that some people are being told that the error is with paypal and not with their banks.
Perhaps you could confirm this?

Come on Paypal admit it you **bleep**ed up, it seems that they have gone quiet, time for a wake up call, try BBC Watchdog the papers and as a last resort the police

Hi, I have had the same problem I did a faster withdrawal on the 3rd for £150 and it was put on their "security hold" lol so because of this and the bank hols it didn't go through till the morning of the 8th . I also did a faster withdrawal on the 7th which completed on the tuesday 8th at 7:45 am the same as everyone else.

It seems that there is a problem with this batch of withdrawals that we did and now we have to wait yet again for OUR money!

I have been contacting paypal by phone and email everyday and I have been told the same rubbish every time "it will be in your account by the end of the banking day"

Come on paypal at least be honest with the people that pay your wages!!!!!!!!!

I haven't received my money yet, paypal phoned me and confirmed that there was a problem with a batch of withdrawels made on the 7th and 8th May and they're working to get it fixed (lol). They couldnt tell me when I would receive my cash, which isnt very helpful. Has anyone had there money appear in their banks yet?

How did you manage to get paypal to phone you???

I have just phoned paypal yet again and they are still telling me that it is definitely at my bank and its my banks fault! lol

Does anyone know if we are likely to get are money or are we going to have to wait the 14 working days and then they will investigate?

I have spoken to paypal 8 times today regarding this, this morning I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor told me he would waiver the 14 days and begin to trace the money right away. I rang back a few hours later to speak to the same supervisor after finding all this on the forum and mentioned it to the person who first took my call and she said she would get the supervisor to call me back within the hour as he was in a meeting. He phoned me back confirming that there had been problems with all withdrawels made on the 8th May and they were sorting it out, Im still no wiser as to when I will get my money though (lol). I think he only phoned me back because they were sick of me phoning (lol), but I will be phoning again tomorrow until its sorted. Its disgusting that paypal can treat us like this when we get charged for using there service. Sorry I can't shed any more light on it, and I hope everyone gets sorted soon

I've not had my money either - I called today and was told it would definately be in at the end of today.  Seems I was lied to!  Wonder if the promised £5 refund was also a lie?

 

Come on Paypal, this is beyond a joke now!!!
