Withdrawals normally 2-24 hours in the UK.

I can only give you the facts.

It may ''normally'' be instant but you have to allow 2-24 hours for withdrawals in the UK.

You could try phoning customer services and see if they can cancel it whilst its at the pending status but not sure if they can do that for you.
