Wrong information regarding withdrawal

My partner sold an item yesterday for £85, and as she was unable to log in to PayPal, she asked the buyer to send to mine. Not only did the payment take well over an hour to show, but 20+ hours after making the withdrawal, the funds are still not in my account. Before making the transfer, I checked online how long the withdrawal would take to show in my bank: 2 hours. When I clicked to make the withdrawal, I checked again: 2 hours. A notification came up on the screen to say that withdrawal had been done and would take 2 hours to show in my account. Over 4 hours later it still wasn't showing, so I called and spoke to an incredibly unhelpful lady at PayPal; who said that the transfer can take up to 24 hours and assured me that the funds would be available today. However, I then asked when today and she went on to say that it can take up to 72 hours! When questioned, she denied saying 72 hours, and said again it would be available today. It's now 9,30am and the funds are still not in my bank. I feel that I've been lied to, and that your staff have no idea what they're doing. PayPal seriously need to improve on staff training and communication - I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING LIED TO!
