Withdrawl Pending ......

Im sure this has been asked before but paypal are awful at contacting and replying to messages so i thought i would ask here i recently sold an item on ebay and the buyer paid immediately so i went to withdraw as this money also included p&p however paypal has ridicolously decided to hold on to my money like its theres it is pathetic i have entered all tracking information and i have been messaging the buyer to confirm its recieved and yet still i am out of pocket is there anyone or anything that can sort this as i fed up

How can I get the payments released before 21 days.

1. If your buyer leaves feedback (pos) then funds are normally released within 48 hours of that feedback being left.
2. If you decide to send an item trackable then you can add the tracking number to the details of the paypal transaction and funds are then released when the item shows as delivered + 3 days.

What if I have met the criteria for release and the funds are still held.

The release of payments is not automatic before 21 days, so you need to email or phone paypal via "contact us" bottom of paypal pages with the transaction i.d's of the payments involved. State how you met the criteria for release of funds before 21 days eg feedback or a tracking number.

You are talking about x2 different things.

In your opening post you did not clarify whether it was pending from >

1. Your held payment balance to your cleared payment balance.

2. From your paypal balance to your bank account.

I took it that the payment was held as you were a new seller in which case the 21 day hold applies.

If its option 2 then it would be the 72 hour security review hold.

You need to clarify which it is.

Strange then he was going on about adding tracking numbers and feedback + paypal holding the payment.

That sounds more like the 21 day new seller payment hold to me.

You are so right about Paypal being slow in responding to your emails.

I am in the same boat as you, The money in my account still shows PENDING and I called them and they said its their systems, and they cant touch the systems as its all done automatically. All withdrawls take 72 hours for me, some people have 24hours which I am still confused about.

There moto is that Paypal is Easier, and faster its far from the truth.
