Does anyone know why I have to wait 24 hours for a withdrawal which is normally done in 2 hours?? So frustrating

Hi, I've recently changed PayPal accounts as had problems with old one, why are my withdrawals taking 72hrs when last week they were instant? Is it something I have forgot to do or because it's a new account? Thanks in advance

I PayPal is really hardwork but withdrew a small amount And got: Your withdrawal request is awaiting release for final processing, pending review by PayPal.

When a withdrawal is being initiated through the PayPal system, paypals security system sometimes temporarily holds the withdrawal for further review. This timeframe can range from 24-72 hours.

If you have been advised that the withdrawal will be held for 24 hours, you should expect the withdrawal to show a status of completed once the 24 hour timeframe passes.

Paypal have confirmed its a technical issue which is being looked into at the moment but they cannot give any indication of when this will be resolved. Frustrating to say the least!!!

No thread I rang them myself as I have the same problem!
