Hi, does anyone know why my transfer of funds to my bank is pending until reviewed by PayPal. This has never happened before and my last transfer a few days ago was in my bank within minutes. It has now been 36 hours since I tried to transfer my funds and is still pending and I have checked my bank and it definitely has not gone in. I don't understand what security reviews they could be looking at.
Paypal have confirmed its a technical issue which is being looked into at the moment but they cannot give any indication of when this will be resolved. Frustrating to say the least!!!

When a withdrawal is being initiated through the PayPal system, our security system sometimes temporarily holds the withdrawal for further review. This timeframe can range from 24-72 hours.
If you have been advised that the withdrawal will be held for 24 hours, you should expect the withdrawal to show a status of completed once the 24 hour timeframe passes.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
I have just spoken to a customer service team member at Paypal who have confirmed that this is a technical issue & it is not anything to do with the extra security checks, so hopefully should be sorted soon!!!! They did also reverse the funds which I tried to withdraw back to my Paypal account until the issue is fixed!
