Withdrawal: Pending?

My parents occasionally transfer money to me via Paypal, and I've never had a problem with withdrawing funds and transferring them to my bank so far. 

Earlier today however I was sent some money which I need urgently to pay a bill. I tried to withdraw it as usual, but it has said the withdrawal is pending and may take up to 21 hours to be reviewed and possibly another 2 hours for the money to be transferred. I'm a little concerned about this because I need to pay this bill by tomorrow morning, and I have a feeling the funds won't reach my account til Monday at the earliest now.

Is there any reason for this to be happening after several successful transfers in the past? Assuming the review is successful, will the funds be in my account tomorrow or will it wait until Monday, regardless of it saying it will take up to 21 hours?

hi, the same has happened to me, ive been selling for ages, etc, ive gone to withdraw some money from my paypal account and it said its under review for 21 hours and it could take another 2 hours for the transfer to be completed, funny thing is it says in my paypal account that the transaction has been completed! well it hasnt! its not in my bank!  i havnt had my conformation email in my msn inbox either! i think after this im not going to use paypal anymore.

I have got the same problem, I requested to withdraw and have got the same notice?  Has anyone got their money?

I just tried to withdraw 20 pound to my bank account and I have been told that it is pending because of a review what's all this about

Exact same as mine has said, I called up earlier and after a really annoying automated service was told by someone that it could be there on Wednesday.... or it might not, I will just have to wait and see 😞

My past seven withdrawals have all been 'reviewed for 21 hours'. SEVEN. Seven withdrawals reviewed. PLEASE explain to me how the **bleep** that works. Does the security check not work the first time around so they need to review EVERY withdrawal? 

I also like how it says that my withdrawal will be under review BEFORE I even submit it. Even if I withdraw £1. 

Something's not right.

Disgusting service. We're a hard-working business and just feel like you're keeping hold of our money for interest purposes.
