I ve been on ebay since 2016 have 100% positive feedback for buying and selling. I sold an item uploaded tracking info and buyer left positive feedback. Paypal released funds to my available balance and I requested withdrawal to my verified bank account and was told it would be processed "within 2 hours". This did not happen spoke to a Customer Service Agent. First he said "the money is due to be released on Feb 7th" I explained I'd been told 2 hrs. He then said "It's pending review" but could not or would not tell me the exact reason why he kept saying "One Possible Reason is" and for each reason he gave I explained how and why this would not be the case. At one point he said "Let me put you on hold while I check your account and that what you are saying is true" That really annoyed me. He came back on the phone saying I notice you failed to log in twice. Yes a problem with my phone and I subsequently logged in ok. Then. You changed your card details. Yes but I have since used it and the card is linked to my paypal verified bank details. In the end I said "You are giving me possible reasons please give me the exact reason why the withdrawal is pending" he said he did not have access to the information so I asked to speak to someone who could tell me the reason. He said there isn't such a department. Sale is completed buyer is happy paypal made funds available but are delaying the transfer for reasons they are unwilling to tell me. They have NOT advised me of any issues with my account details I've checked for messages and there are none. They have NOT made any attempts to further check my account details for accuracy (standard practice is to make a nominal deposit and ask me to confirm receipt and amount). They are holding my money on a completed sale and not giving me a valid reason why! In addition their customer service agent implied I was being dishonest!
