Withdrawal Pending...

I've never had a problem withdrawing funds before and they've usually gone in within minutes but now apparently it can take up to 72 hours for me to get MY money? I'm a student with no student loan untill the 30th Sep, this is the only money I have to live on but now I have to go 72 hours without food or anything. It's ridiculous how they can do this to someone.

Because you agreed to it when you signed the user agreement and joined paypal.

The 2 hour timeframe for transfer is not guaranteed and can take up to 72 hours.

That may be so, but how come all of my other transactions have come out within minutes and this one up to 72 hours?! It might be okay for you, you have money, you have food, you can pay your rent...this money was due to cover most of my stuff, but now it can't because PayPal are incompetent.

You have no idea what i have or do not have.

I may not even have a job as far as you are aware......so do not judge me.

Your other transactions may well have completed in minutes, thats great but its not guaranteed and they tell you that when you join paypal or withdraw funds........takes up to 72 hours.

I'm pretty sure you have food, however, I did not judge you at any point in my comment, if you want to take it as if I did so, then so be it.

Right, let me straighten something up...I'm not annoyed at the fact PayPal put in the small print which I'm sure everyone reads that I agree that they can hold my withdrawal, I'm more annoyed at the fact that I needed this money, I needed MY money, it's not PayPal's money, it's MINE! Would PayPal appreciate it if I hold funds from them so I can do a random security check on them?! I assume not...

Yep appreciate you need the money but all i can say is that if you use the site then you should be aware of the draw backs and one of those it that you do not get instant access to your funds in every circumstance.

Sorry but that is the way it is and to be fair without paypal its doubtful we would sell our items in the first place so would not get any money if we did not use it !!

Good luck hope it clears soon.

Hi I have just rang paypal and the guy has told me its not down to our banks its a glitch at paypals end, when you get a message saying your bank account / card details have been deleted ignore it as this is a technical problem with paypal at present. Paypal are refunding customers with the charge fees they have been charged and they say to refresh your paypal to see charges have been refunded into our paypal accounts. He did say NOT to try and do the transfer from paypal to your bank until 24 hours as you will keep getting charged. So wait 24 hours and try transfer again. Hope this helps

I'm very unhappy to say even the 72 h period that it MAY takes it's a lie!

I have 5 FULL days since i clicked withdraw to my credit card, and it is still PENDING.

I called right before the 72 hours were up, they told me whne the timer hits 72 h it's gonna be completed,

I called 10 hours after the 72 h passed, they told me it was a mistake and they submitted a ticket so that my withdrawl will clear in 24h from that call maximum.

It's now 2 days from that call, almiost, and more than 2 full days from the 72 h!!!!

My withdrawl to my credit card it still pending

I don';t understand how this is possible.........
