Paypal what a load of bull it is happening to all accounts and just about every transaction it is not random. You should tell the truth. It is wrong that you keep this money it is our money. You are using the wording SECURITY CHECK as a loophle so that you can hang on to the money for as long as possible to get more interest. The fact is you are not doing any security checks .I will be making a formal complaint to the CSSF about this  as the new ruling is that monies should be paid straight away into current accounts and this took affect on th 1/1/12

Technically, all accounts are covered by Faster Payments and the new EU directive.

Accounts where the cash should be instantly available include:

  • Current accounts
  • Standard savings accounts
  • Credit card accounts (where payment is made to clear or reduce a balance)
  • Payments to HMRC for tax

It is time to tell your customers the truth it is a loophole you are using to hold on to our money

I am so sick of Paypal !!! I had a major order thru a wholesaler with plenty of money in paypal as we have been selling hard to save for this purchase, what happens when order was submitted..PAYPAL DECLINED  PAYMENT !!!!  Really ?? How as sellers are we to survive with holidays here and the busiest time !!!! WE have no merchandise !!!!  Ebay puts all these rules and regulations, paypal does not release money !!!  Ridiculous !!!

Same, wish I had seen this last week before linking up my whole website to Paypal!!!!!

I have a business bill that has to be paid today and my withdrawals are still pending if they are not cleared by the end of today I am reverting back to the old fashioned way.  I cannot run a business this way!!!! 😞 Grrrrrrr
