Fed up of having to wait for paypal to review my withdrawl requests.
transfered £50 and it went through fine, try and withdraw a larger sum and it gets held up for up to 3 days apparently,??????
how can one transaction go through fine and the next is held up, this is a complete joke i am so hacked off.
someone needs to give me an anser very soon, already contacted watchdog and am compiling information for trading standards.
are paypal going to compensate me?
perhaps i should be charging THEM INTEREST.
invoice for 1000% a day.
chers now
bye bye then.

This is all so tiring. First of all, out of the - whatever it is, 14 million? - total Paypal user base we have no idea what proportion are affected by this. Secondly, we are all whingeing away on a forum run by Paypal, moderated by Paypal, and running on their own servers.
What is needed here is a proper independently run and independently funded Paypal users group. It needs to have membership from a large number of users so it represents a true majority opinion and has the authority to make its views heard. If such an organisation does not yet exist someone - maybe me! - should create it. There's no point in having random people ragging on about their fifty quid being inexplicably delayed. We need to have broad data drawn from a statistically relevant cross section of the user community.
Feel free to email me any thoughts about this at: paypal-users [at] cka-net [dot] com.

This pending withdrawal process is an absolute joke!
I had £500+ in my account earlier today so chose to withdraw to my bank account. I am fully verified and have been for 6 months and I've made several withdrawals of similar amounts in the past which have all been transferred almost immediately.
After attempting to withdraw the £500+ today I was greeted with the lovely 'Your withdrawal request is awaiting release for final processing, pending review by PayPal' message and it could take up to 72 hours for MY MONEY to be released. So in an attempt to try push it through a bit quicker I rang PayPal, the advisor who I spoke to reversed the withdrawal and told me to try again with the hope that it would push the withdrawal through to clearing quicker. So I went through the same process of trying to withdraw the money from my acount but this time I left 50p in. I got the same message on the £500+ withdrawal with it going to take up to 72 hours and the advisor told me there was nothing else that could be done.
An hour later I tried withdrawing the measley sum of 50p to see if that would be transferred immediately but I got the same message pending for review by PayPal. Thats a 72 hour security review for 50p!!
This whole process just seems to be there to **bleep** their customers off

I think it is time to take this whole fiasco to the media and internationally and put it on every social networking site and get every ombudsman involved that would be able to correct it. Try going over to money savings expert website and start a forum on there and see if we can get as many paypal users as possible to contribute and lets get a complaint to watchdog and get this hassle stopped once and for all. I have been on Ebay for 12 years and paypal for about 5/6 years. I cant even withdraw £115 even though I have provided proof of postage and had feedback. Still nothing. Contacted paypal and got nothing from them either. I think they are making a right mint in interest from our withheld payments and it is time we took a stand and used a different form of payment and used a different auction site than eBay also.

I am now refunding all my buyers and closing the paypal and ebay account completely. It has become a complete joke. I will take my goods elsewhere (gumtree)!!!
I have emailed paypal numerous times and my money is still being withheld despite providing tracking numbers and positive feedback from buyers. I have had no response from paypal at all except a 'we aim to respond' rubbish!!
I am still trying to obtain £115 from the account and it wont let me.
All this about new sellers is absolutely rubbish. One of my friends has an eBay business account and has had for well over a year and all his payments are suddenly being held too. It is just Paypal making more money from account holders - well I wont be one after I have refunded all my buyers!!
Complete jokers and they dont respond to emails!!

CAN NOT get funds transferred to my account 77 hours and counting
Spent £40 on calls trying to sort?
Been told a load of cods?
Funds are being witheld for paypals benefit. Can't see any other reason for none payment . Ebay own paypal and are obviously employing every underhand tactic or loophole to make extra cash. I was warned not to deal with ebay by numerous friends but didn't listen. I have had funds reversed from bank back to paypal??? which seemed very strange when they could easily transfer a 1p so that i could recieve pin number, however trying to get £280s transferred is so infuriating and expensive i will NEVER use ebay or paypal again. I SHOULD OF TAKEN ADVICE FROM FRIENDS AND STAYED WELL AWAY. I have had to send items using my own funds so i dont get bad feedback,( another joke in itself), and have no returns for my trouble.
Seemed a very good idea at 1st. Turns out it's another poke in the eye for honest people trying to scratch a living.
I HEAR YOU, just a shame ebay wont.
(joke joke joke)
Just spent another £7 on phoning customer service,as they like to be called. They are now saying,i was given bad info earlier and that they will look into it.?????However, the funds will be in account saturday at 1.30. thats 120 hours.
I am fuming with these scammers.
NEVER AGAIN FULL STOP
Good luck
p.s i will be making a legitamate complaint with some1 that does give a **bleep**e. trading standards for example or other relevent source. I will be on it ,i cant leave this 1.

I have reported it watchdog and threatened them with the FSA and low and behold the funds (well some of them) have been released. Amazing isnt it when you throw their own conditions back at them. Sounds like you need to report them full stop!!
