Not recieved withdrawal or emails confirming withdrawal

Hi this morning at 8:47 i requested my withdrawal like usual by paypal. Normally i get an email about 10-15 minutes later saying 'you have requested a withdrawl after 4 hours review we will send it' ect then 4 hours later i get another email saying its been sent.

Today however i havent received any emails (even when i initiated it at 8:47) and its now 3 oclock and i have no confirmation or money and it still says pending in my paypal account? whats going on?

Hi, I also have had the same problem & have contacted paypal who are going to investigate this. Apparently there was a system upgrade yesterdaty. Hope its sorted asap. Will let you know what they say. Lisa

Oh good. well, not good but at least its not just me. I hope its sorted quickly too i hate not knowing where my money is. I tried to ring them earlier but got bored after 10 minutes of holding so im glad you got through. And yes id be very appreciative if you could keep me updated that'd be great! thanks. Regards John

I am having the same problem. I usually get an email saying they are processing my withdrawal within a few minutes but I have done three withdrawals today one around 8am one around midday and one around 3pm and no emails for any of them!!

All of them said that there would be a 4 hour review and up to 2 hours after that when I did them but no emails and they are all still pending!!!

Has anyone heard from paypal about this yet?

Maybe one of the moderaters could actually take a bit of time  and give us some information as to whats going on!!!!!

Hi, I had to ring Paypal again as they clearly couldn't be bothered ringing me back as promised. Still my withdrawals are showing as pending, Paypal say they can't see any time delays there end but have asked me to wait until 24 hours after the first withdrawal to see if this the changes to complete. So same old story with the ever helpful Paypal, will update you at 9am tomorrow morning when it 24 hours althougth I am not hopeful. Thanks Lisa

It does worry me when they update their system as everything tends to go wrong when they do!!!

Did they say why we hadn't received the usual conformation email for the withdrawals that we normally get?

Same for me. No emails and several pending withdrawals. No response from PAYPAL - I have however sent the BBC a lengthy email including some directions to this very forum! I am also compiling info now to send the ombudsman  as this company is clearly too used to having the monopoly between itself and ebay.

No surprise there regarding paypal not ringing you back its typical. And i agree no company should be allowed to manipulate users like the monopoly of ebay and paypal do, its crazy how its even allowed. Any who please let us know if any of you hear any more or even better youve received your funds.

I have had untold issues for the last 4 weeks or so trying to withdraw. This morning I had the best excuse yet ! - The reason its telling you your funds will take 4 hours and possibly a further two hours now instead of aprox 23 hours is because ...and I quote .... ''There is a bug on the system !! '' Honestly what a load of poo. And whats more fancy telling a customer that !! I have phoned on many occassions, each time a very different excuse - it only shows how incredibly inconsistant and unprofessional Paypal really is. Its now been more than 24 hours since I requested my money

Morning All, Just to let you know that during last night I received all the emails I would normally receive to say the withdrawal would be with me in 2 hours & this morning the funds are in my bank account. Not tried a withdrawal today but hopefully they have sorted the issue.

My problem & frustration with Paypal is that they just dont seem bothered about the huge impact & stress these issues have on a business, cash flow for businesses is so so important & the last thing we should be worrying about is Paypal. There approach to customer care is shocking considering I have an account which turns over alot of money & the fees they already take from everyone.....Anyway I hope you have all managed to get your funds sorted.
