I bought something and wanted to pay with my credit card via paypal but forgot to change the funding. I did not have sufficient funds in my bank account, so immediately called paypal. Paypal advised me to cancel the DD with my bank and ensure my credit card is the primary card on my account. He said the bank transaction would bounce and that they would seek the funds from the next source.
However, I've now got a negative balance on the account. I don't want to call and transfer monies as this will incur a cash handling fee with my bank. I wish the transaction to be purchased with my credit card.
This is really annoying me as it was a simple mistake and I tried to fix it immediately. I phoned paypal instantly and asked them to change the funding type.
Has anyone any advise on this?
Thanks
Emma
