Money has disappeared

I´m new to paypal and I don't think I have dealt with a transaction properly.  I´ve just sold an item and the buyer paid the money into my paypal account after which I sent the item. However I didn't´t realised I had to transfer the cash to my bank account I thought it could stay in my paypal account.  The transaction has now completely disappeared from my account history and my balance is 0.

The buyers says it states the money as unclaimed on his paypal account, does this mean it has transferred back to his account? 

Can anyone advise on how I can fix this please?

OK did the payment ever show in your paypal balance?

If it states unclaimed on the buyers account then i doubt it did, so can you ask the buyer is their a cancel option next to the transaction in their account, if there is tell them to cancel then come back for more advice.

hi ye that is what as happend to me over 60.00 cant find it my paypal is comeing up 0 and my bank dont no were its gone help
