Debit/Credit Card needed?

So I've recently created my paypal in order to get support from my writing. My account is linked through ko-fi.com, so every time someone donates, I'll get $3. I was wondering if I needed to add a debit/credit card to actually recieve that money? If so, then I need to go sign up for one apparently

Its unlikely you will be able to spend those funds in your balance without a back up card to verify your paypal account.

And you can only withdraw the funds to a linked bank account and not a card in the UK.

Yes you should be able to receive the funds ok.
