CHARGEBACK FRAUD

Hello.I sold an item for 3000usd 3 months ago.Today I see my funds are blocked(HELD) for "unauthorized payment".The buyer is a chinese from USA.I'm from Europe.I provided the proof of delivery(signature too)but I heard in these cases Paypal refund the buyers and no protection for sellers.Any experiences?

An unauthorised payment is normally when the buyers account has been hacked and used without their consent.

If paypal conclude that this is what happened then of course the genuine account holder must have their money back.

HOWEVER if you met all the criteria of seller protection then you would not lose out either as paypal would reimburse you.

Your best bet is to go and read the small section on seller protection in the user agreement for unauthorised payments to make sure you were covered.

thank you.The item was shipped at his ebay and Paypal address.The buyer is Paypal verified.When I respond to the chargeback Paypal asked to attach the prrrof the item was shipped to his address...the address on the receipt was the same as the address Paypal asked.I attached the proofs..receipt of shipping,receipt of delivery and signature of delivery.I'm hoping not to lose my money.The payment was covered by seller protection.Let's hope

Are passed 3 weeks and no response.Today I see the case is not shown on the resolution center.I don't understand what's happened.I found the payment and the funds seems to be still held but no case in the resolution center

Today I receieved the email from Paypal.I won the chargeback dispute because covered from seller protection
