Are paypal purposely delaying withdrawals for 24 hours to make extra on interest?

Paypal must be making a fortune in interest if they're doing this to all users! Can anyone suggest a good alternative?

Over the past 7 days, the last three withdrawals I've made have all been pending. I phoned about the last two and was told it was random. I've not changed any details and in the past the funds have cleared in minutes at times. I've accepted the phone call and put in the right security code when prompted so what other concern could there be? These amounts have all been for nearly 500.00 and I can't afford this delay due to the nature of the business. I'm having to borrow myself off of credit cards until the funds clear in my bank.

Can anyone from Paypal confirm if this is purely extra revenue making on their behalf?

How many others users are finding the same problem?

having exact same problem trying to withdraw a little over 380 pounds and its been pending for more then 72 hours still not processed or completed yet

Over last two weeks every withdrawal been under Review from paypal and they explaining that tactic as a redemption risk. Thats **bleep**. I am looking for people who wanna sign petition to make them being reviewed by Financial agency and get them punished for tricky tactics on customers money

mine has gone into my bank, but says this could take upto 72 hours!!! its normally in there within the hour, only reason i sold item was to fund a day trip with my kids, its only 200 quid aswell..fuming aint the word!!!
