Paypal maintenance? Not receiving email confirmation

Hi,

 

I joined the community this evenng, as for the last 48 hours I have not received payment confirmation emails or purchase confirmation emails from my business paypal account.  I have had this account for three and half years, and my email is receiving all other emails without any issues.

 

I did note on the ebay forums that there was scheduled maintenance on Friday 31st January 2014 between 6am and 8am - I received my last email from paypal at 1.15 on Friday 31st January.  I have checked my paypal account / communication preferences etc - just wondered if anyone or moderators could advise.

Many thanks for the reply, I have just spoken to Paypal and it is due to the mainenance work carried out and they are aware of the problem.

Yup, I'm experiencing the same issue - no payment confirmation emails since Saturday 18:00GMT

 

Doesn't maintenance normally only last a few hours - this has been almost two days now!

I spoke to a very helpful Customer Service Assistant this morning, they are aware of the problem and working on it.  I am sure it will be sorted soon, there was an issue with viewing paypal history a few weeks back and again I called them, they confirmed the problem and it was sorted fairly quickly.

The issues have now been sorted so hopefully any others who had this problem for a couple of days will now be receiving their emails.

1. All you have to do is add/edit your email.

2. Log in your yahoo email, go to "account info" under "settings".

3. Check your email if it has Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD). I was not able to recieve paypal's email confirmation link for almost a week. I checked my account info, my email has .ph at the end (abc_123 @ yahoo.com.ph instead of abc_123 @ yahoo.com which was the email address I made when I signed up for yahoo and paypal).

4. Log in your newly-made Paypal, under Profile- click Add/Edit Email

5. Now, add the same email with the ccTLD (the one with extra letters or country code at the end of the email e.g. abc_123 @ yahoo.com.ph)

6. After adding, click confirm then wait for the link 🙂

7. Done! Confirmed email 

--it is up to you if you are going to delete the old email (much better)

-----------this worked for me.. try, pretty easy 🙂
