You must add funds to your PayPal account before sending more money??

I have been a paypal member for about 5 years and have never had this sho up when trying to send money from my verified paypal account with my comfermed bank account till today, is there a new policy that I donk know about?

I also noticed this today.  I have been a verified paypal member for 10 years.Perhaps this is a way for them to help make sure that the transaction can't be reversed/canceled somehow should it be "fraud" or to limit the amount of quick schemes perhaps?  It also means they get to hold onto your money in another step in the process...

It is very seldom that I use Paypal, perhaps twice a year.  If my account contains the funds necessary for my purchase, why should I link Paypal to my personal bank account?  Have you ever had an unwanted charge on a Credit Card such as a yearly magazine subscription you no longer want or an antivirus platform renewal for a fried laptop? Can't Paypal verify that Paypal has my funds in it's pocket?  The default limit should be the content of my Paypal account.  If I wish to increase the limit, then I will provide you with my banking information.
