Possible scam?

On April 5, 2011, I purchased a sewing machine manual for a Cordon Bleu S409 thru paypal from the Treadler's Village.  I was charged that day.  I have sent several e-mails for an eta, however, I have received no response.  How can I determine if this was a legitimate sale or scam?  How long do I need to wait to receive my manual?  If I don't receive it, how do I report them so no one else will fall victim to their site?  Please advise.

nannunik,

If it was purchased that long ago I would contact PayPal Customer Service immediately to inform them of the situation.  While on that phone call I would go ahead and open up a claim for a non received item.  I have never had to do this for anything outside of eBay purchases so I am not sure if it is different.  But you definitely need to contact a live person to get this taken care of.  5 weeks to ship a manual seems like an excessive amount of time.  I hope this helps you out 🙂

Thank you.  When I filed a dispute with paypal, the seller contacedt me.  she had not responded from my several email attempts until I filed the dispute.  She claimed she never got the order but now she is taking care of it.  thanks for the advice.
