Instant verification didn't instantly verify...

I attempted to verify my PayPal account today.  After I linked it to a bank account, I was given  two options: wait 2-3 days, or instantly verify. I chose to instantly verify. However, after I gave it all the required information, it's telling me it's going to do the second option and make deposits in the account over several days. Now instead of being instantly verified with the first option, I have to wait like the second option. I don't mind the wait, but was this supposed to happen?

Same happened to me.  I doubt they delete your password and log on information either.  In 2006 they pulled over $250 from my bank account for no reason, and to get it back I had to go to my bank, have them print out the transaction on bank letter head and only after 3 weeks did I see my money redeposited to my account.  The local, state and Federal police authorities refused to even file a complaint, stating eBay/paypal lose money on other fraud cases and they were over-loaded.  This is a Ponzi scheme to the nth degree.  I think a class action suit against them is warrant..
