I need help verifying a debit card

I use eBay often & it recently wanted me to verify my Paypal account but when I went to get verified, it asked for a routing number & an account number. I have my account number but know nothing of a routing number. I'm sure that I'm just being thick headed but any help is greatly appreciated!

The routing number is the 9-digit code located on the bottom of your checks.  It identifies the bank.  Hope this helps:)
