Don't want to add a credit/debit card to verify

Hello, I'm trying to make a purchase of $117 on Superbiiz.com. When I try checking out, I get this message:

"The seller of this item requires you to provide a Confirmed Address for delivery. To confirm your address, please add a credit card below.

This transaction amount is greater than your available PayPal balance. To complete purchase, please add a credit or debit card."

Now, I've already verified a phone number and a bank account, and have been active for almost a year now.

And to top it off, I don't own a credit nor debit card, only an ATM. I don't want a credit car nor a debit card.

And I have more than $117 on my paypal, so why does it say the purchase is greater than my available Paypal balance? I haven't spent more than $100 the past month, so I shouldn't be hitting any limits.

So what do I do? I hope to get this resolved quick because I'm getting a pretty good deal on what I'm buying and it will expire soon...

"shadhass" is a combination of my first and part of last name. I know Shad isn't very common, but I'm a guy. But its ok, made me laugh though.

Anyways, on topic, that is some helpful information right there. I will look into this and hopefully follow this advice. I think if it works, it would deserve some kudos.

Sorry about that, sorry I had to respond to the Advisor first.  If it was anyone other than an avisor or one of  the moderator's I really would have just given a unisex answer and not cared about the reply.  Most of them give boiler plate I don't really care to listen answers.

I don't like credit cards either and I deal with financial matters as well as customer service issues daily.  People that like to pay with money order's or cash I usually tell them to go down to Walgreen's or Walmart and get a pre-paid this way they can take care of bill's right away over the phone rather than waiting for the next business day.    Some charge monthly $3-$7 service fee's but at least you can load it  an feel secure making purchases.  Why, because when you use any card that has a visa/mastercard logo they are normally through some financial institute a'nd it allows you  the consumer the right to dispute the transactions.   It's better than the BBB-Better Business Bureau and is quicker than Ebay/Paypal Buyer's Protection.

I use a payday loan location and when I have any amount of my payroll check deposited the load fee's are free or just $2.00.  They even had a Promo that with my first payroll deposit they would deposit $100.00, not bad.

Another benefit of using these types of card is record keeping.  Companies mess up and this way you have itemized transactions to refer back too.

The easiest way for Paypal is to just buy the Load card's only for PayPal.  Instant fund's to your Paypal without getting a pre-paid credit card.  If buying item's from Ebay then I go to grocery store and get no charge Ebay Gift cards saving me the load fee's.

You will do fine.  This information is solid and get's results.  Have a great Christmas~!

Today I tried to use Paypal to pay for an item I wanted to purchase from Jerry's Artarama. I have a credit card listed with PayPal which is backed with my Edward Jones accounts. They were asking for another credit card to confirm something in regard to the purchase using Paypal. I tried several times to get the purchase to work using PayPal. Never happened. I finally gave up, went back to Jerry's Artarama and purchased the item with the same credit card PayPal has on record. Has PayPal become useless, i.e. too much trouble to use? Plus to contact PayPal directly via phone you have to jump through another bunch of hoops just to get to talk to a real live person. But from what I have read on other posts, that won't get you anywhere anyway. So, why bother.

The answer is Yes, Yes and Yes.  Avoid paypal whenever a consumer will take a credit card.  It's not worth all the trouble us Paypal user's go through.

If you are not getting resolution through the seller or Paypal resolution center, start the dispute process with your credit card or debit credit card before it is too late, 30 days might be too late.  Check with financial institute.

Chargeback Process:

1. Contact credit card customer service number listed on the back, give them the exact issue and any facts such as first time contacted seller, tracking information.  You can request to submit more information and they will send you a form in the mail.    Sit  back and wait for the resolution.

2. Once you have submitted and they have received your dispute they will then turn around and send seller and/or Paypal the dispute. They have a certain amount of time to respond or they automatically lose the dispute.

3. You as the consumer are not charged any fee's, on the other hand the merchant/seller is charged a fee whether they win or lose.

There is justice in this world you just have to search for it on the internet,  Good luck  to all.
