can i have money trabsfered to me from a bank account even though i dont have a bank account? Do I get something like a paypal card to make purchases?

All Payments you receive, bank, paypal balance or cc funded will show as a balance in your Paypal account. 

If an on-line business takes paypal, then you can make the payment using the business's website.
