Having bank cancel transfer?

I wanted to know what would happen if I requested my bank cancel a transfer from my bank account to paypal.

Currently the money was already deducted from my bank account but Paypal has not credited my account and is refusing to do so until august 8th. Personally I feel holding onto my funds for 9 days is to unreasonable.

Oh brother, I just saw this post becauase I paid for something and I sent the wrong email and my bank was charged and I saw that it's been 3 days and my bank charged me for it after I canceled it.  do they really hold on to it for a few days??  How awful. I have to wait now for it to clear. This **bleep**.
