Is this a genuine PayPal e-mail address.
The e-mail it comes with contains NO personal information, not even my name, the e-mail subject is "We've limited your PayPal account access. Please follow these steps to resolve. (Case #PP-001-546-712-049 - ORM001)"
The e-mail text is:-
Dear PayPal user,
We recently received a report of unauthorized credit card payment attempt
associated with this account. To protect you against any further unauthorised
payment attempts, we've limited access to your PayPal account. Please take
a minute to review the details below and what steps you need to take to
remove the limits.

I can see its a spoof.
1. Paypal always address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.
2. Paypal NEVER tell you to enter sensitive log in info or financial info via a link in an email or a download.
Advice is voluntary.

Thanks for that. I saw it as a likely phishing exercise but thought I'd ask anyway, partly for confirmation as partly as a warning for others. For my own security I will never follow links from an e-mail, always preferring to use my own stored link.
