ebay account blocked.

my ebay account has been blocked. it comes up with a message saying suspicious transaction please verify details including bank details. i now can't get into the account on my own computer but can on my sons. I'm worried they can hack into my paypal account aswell.

The same message is effecting my facebook who want my credit details aswell. Thats how i figured something was wrong.

How do i freeze my paypal account to stop any transactions taking place from this point in time

Based on the information that you provided in your post, my first recommendation would be to run a full virus scan on your own computer. You mentioned that you were able to log in without issue using your son’s computer and if there is a virus on your computer you’d need to have that fully removed before using it again.

Were you using the same email address and password combination on both eBay and PayPal? I always suggest keeping your PayPal password unique to help prevent unauthorised access. If you are worked about the security on your PayPal account, you can request that we place a “Protection Limitation” on your account. If you call our Customer Services team, you can get the number by clicking on “Contact Us” at the bottom of any screen, they will place this for you.
