I am selling a trike motorcycle on Craigslist and had a person with phone number 571-482-9245 text me wanting to buy the trike. He was willing to pay full price plus $100.00. He told me he had a shipper who would pick up the trike after I confirmed the money was in my account. Then his shipper would not pick up the trike without a $1000.00 fee up front. He advised he would send me the purchase price plus $1000.00 if I would pay the shipping cost. Hairs on the back of my neck started to raise. I had him give me the shippers name which was Heather Nuckols 1724 Platt Springs Road Apt# 2 in Columbia, South Carolina. I checked the address on google and observed an old apartment building. He told me PayPal would not release the funds till I paid the shipper. I told him it was too good to be true and called his scam. He told me that due to the nature of his work, Marine Corp Officer, he could not complete a Western Union wire transfer himself. He kept repeating that I would received an email from PayPal confirming the transfer. A quick check of the Internet confirmed how that scam was already being done. Thank God for others who have posted what happen to them. It prevented me from being another victim. The old saying is very true. "If it sound to good to be true, run as fast as you can in the other direction. Have a great day.
