Has anyone else come across this statement on screen before. I fail to understand its purpose, apart from some security I suppose?

I had exactly the same problem after upgrading to Firefos V34. Apparently this is caused in Firefox by protection against POODLE - see the following link.
https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2014/10/14/the-poodle-attack-and-the-end-of-ssl-3-0/
Safari (I use a MAC) works OK which is how I am posting this.
Has anyone have any information about this problem and how to overcome it; cannot find any technical support on the main Paypal website.
