My EBAY item arrived broken. I purchased using PayPal. How do I upload a receipt showing proof of my purchase for the USPS claim I am filing?

Hi @KThompson4588,
Welcome to the community and sorry to hear about your item. 😞
Have you reached out to your seller yet? You may want to try that first.
If you're unable to come to a resolution with your seller, your next step would be to open a dispute case in the Resolution Center. This will open a communication with the seller directly on the PayPal website. Here's how to open a dispute:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click Resolution Center at the top of the page.
- Click Dispute a Transaction.
- Select Item Dispute, then click Continue.
- Click Find transaction ID.
- Click the Transaction ID next to the transaction you want to dispute, then click Continue.
Note:
- You have 45 days from the transaction date to open a dispute.
- If you and the seller can’t resolve the problem, you can ask us to investigate by escalating your dispute to a claim.
- If you don’t escalate a dispute to a claim within 20 days, we automatically close it. Once a dispute is closed, you can’t reopen it or escalate it to a claim.
You're more than welcome to keep the postage receipt incase you're asked for it through the PayPal case.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions!
-Ashley
