I need to open a paypal account for our class reunion. We currently have a bank account, that is a not for profit account. Should the paypal account be the same? Would I need to open under personal or business?
A business account would be best for your organization. Doing so you can have the account setup using your group or organization name which would be displayed on the Checkout Screens ,invoices, etc. - if you used a Personal Account, both your personal name and email address would be displayed on the Checkout Screens, invoices, etc.
