I just did a "Transfer Money" transfer from (PayPal) out of my checking account of $725.00 to fund my PayPal account and saw that PayPal immediately took an 8% transfer fee ($55.00) and sent the remainder to my PayPal account. I am speechless and most certainly looking forward to having a discussion tomorrow morning with PayPal.
Assuming you have a US PayPal Account, there's no fees to tranfer funds from a bank account to your PayPal account balance. (It will be interesting to hear what the explaination was.)
