Close and reopen account, for nationality to change

I have selected wrong nationality, and now I have some money on my account.

I want to change nationality but in this forum I found that the only way to do it to close and then create new account.

I would do that but I dont want to lose my money. I cant send it to friends because of nationality.

If I close my account and then create new with same email, will my money still be available?

Open one in your own country and ask customer services if there is anything you can do, but i think you have probably lost that cash.
