I'm traveling in Colombia, Bogota and set up my Paypal US with google payment profile US and Android Pay, so the only payment option in my Android Pay is the PayPal Discover card from my Paypal balance, right now of $8.24 usd, but I have tried it in multiple places like McDonalds, Subway, Dunkin Donuts hasnt worked a single time. First I had this auto top up option of 10$ enabled from my bank acc but I dont have money in there so I think the first times in a macdonalds it showed the android lady dancing in the app but the card reader would just like deny quickly after, I think it was trying to auto topup from my bank acc the $10 unsuccessfully bc next day I got email from paypal saying my bank told them I had unauthorized transactions, paypal acc limited, had to do all the verification to restore limitations. Now I disabled the auto topup option and tried again, card readers now reject my phone right away, say "error reading" I think, the dancing lady android doesnt even show in app now.
Has anyone used android pay in Colombia? Bogota? Where? What happened?
**bleep**: I know having $8.24 usd in acc is very little, I'm waiting for a bigger on-hold balance, will let you know what happens when more money in the acc.
