My bank account is suddenly invalid?

I have had the same PayPal account and bank account for a while, about a year now. 2 days ago I completed a transaction on Ebay, but received an email that my bank had denied the PayPal request to transfer funds from my checking account.  The reason given was: invalid account number.  The number has not changed, and I tried to re-enter my banking information but it has been denied by PayPal.  How can I fix this???

Edit: It seriously says that a transfer on 12/25 failed and that's what made the bank account invalid yet a transfer on 12/27 worked -__-

At this poing all you can do is contact contact customer support direct with your concerns.  Suggest calling, if you try the email route, there's a good chance you may end up robo responses referencing FAQs from the Help section (which probably won't help.)
