I need to change my primary email for the account

I'm probably going to be dropping my old email account, and need to change to my new email address.  Is there any way of doing this without totally canceling the Paypal account?

Yes.

1. Log in to your PayPal account and go to your Profile > Profile and settings section

2. In your Info section there is an Email section - click the Update link in the Email section

3. In there you'll see that you can have up to 8 email addresses associated with the account. Click "Add" and add the new email address to your list and then select it and click "Confirm".  That will send you a confirmation email with a link to click to confirm the address.

4. Now you can go back to the list, select the new address, and click "Make Primary".
