I'm trying to add my UFJ japan bank account to paypal, paypal says my paypal name must match the name on my bank account.

The name on my bank card is in katakana and the First Name Middle Name and Last Name are ordered differently on the card, does my paypal name have to be in katakana or just roman letters. Also i assume my paypal's First Name Middle Name and Last Name name order has to be reordered to match the positioning on the card.

Are you adding a japan card to a japan paypal account or a US one?

Well i guess so since i'm able to log into paypal jp and i'm residing in japan, how can i tell my paypal is a JP or US one?

Hey, in the same boat here, I live in Japan but I made my PayPay account before moving here.

a) Is there a difference between a 'Japanese' and normal (International/US?) PayPal account?  Can I switch my account over to Japanese from the normal, and if I do so, what do I give up?

b) What's the process (I also have UFJ) – can I do it all online (super-doubtful) or should I go in person to UFJ.  Would love to hear if anyone has done this successfully.
