selling RV

This is my first time (will be only time) selling an RV. I put the RV on craigslist and within an hour recieved a response.  The person wants to use PayPal to send me the money but since we are talking thousand of dollars I am hestitant to do sale this way. My first instinct is that this is a scam since the buyer is going to purchase site unseen.  Am I safe selling the RV this way? Is there something I should be looking for? Can the purchaser pull be funds? Once in my account how long do I have to wait to ensure funds are really there?  Help can not afford to be taken

THIS IS A TYPICAL PAYPAL SCAM.

They encourage you to use paypal and often don't quibble on price and don't want to view (often saying they are disabled / working offshore / buying it for a relative etc.

You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't.
The 'fake' paypal email will tell you that the buyer has paid for the item + shipping costs but you must send those shipping costs to the courier via western union / moneygram BEFORE the funds are released to you.

They are not interested in the RV, they just want the western union etc funds and you will never see money in your paypal balance.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal NEVER expect you to use a rival money transfer service eg Moneygram or Western Union.
Also their is no seller protection on paypal for any type of motor vehicle.

Delete any emails and ignore the scammers and in my opinion DO NOT use paypal for a motor vehicle.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
