"Returned Item" fee???

Hello. I accidentally ordered something from the DealDash app for $255 whole dollars in my sleep. I had used Paypal credit to buy bids before so that was still on the app. I got three calls from Paypal in my sleep as well, no voicemails. I was calling Paypal and also talking to DealDash, which sent me a refund immediately. I never got an item and it was never even shipped. I have since completely taken Paypal off the app since it can be so easy to accidentally order something by falling asleep with the screen unlocked. Is there a way I can get this refund back?

You can generally expect a refund to appear on your PayPal Credit account within 7-10 business days of the date the merchant processed the refund.  Merchants have varying timeframes for processing refunds for returns.

You can see refunds online. Here's how:

1. Click Details next to Paypal Credit on the left side of the page.
2. Click See statements. To see refunds that posted on a previous statement click the desired statement date.

If you’re still waiting for your refund to appear on your PayPal Credit account you may want to contact the merchant directly to verify the following:

• Did they receive your returned merchandise?
• What’s the amount of the refund credit you can expect to receive?
• Have they issued the refund?
