Hi guys, I have been in paypal for many years. But recently (begining of the year) I'm working as a remote programmer, I have been working with people in different places and almost all of them uses Paypal, I was working with other services (even if they are really expensive) because with Paypal always have problems... But well I have a venezuelan account and I used it, the problem is that everybody knows the problem in my country and I'm moving to another country in two months and then probably I will go to another one just looking where to start living. Being a programmer here is difficult because of the payments so I decided to open a US Paypal account so I can just use one account (and not have to open like three or four accounts) while I'm moving and withdrawrl my money to my bank account.

Now, Paypal blocked my account and I have been talking with them in the resolution center for more than a week and it's like is a joke because they just copy and paste all the same emails... I just want to know if it's possible to have one account like I want and if is not, it's ok just want to know it so I can quit trying.

Paypal is country specific so you can only use a countries paypal account if you reside in that country, and you have to add that countries bank accounts / cards / phone number / addresses to that paypal account.

However as paypal is a U.S company it allows its ex-pats to add their bank account to 'most' other countries paypal accounts.

if you are in Venezuela, you should be using your Venezuelan account, when you move to another country, then open a new Paypal account in that country.

You have no business open a US paypal account because you are not in USA,

Your account could be restricted for 180 days and they will closed your account.and return your money.
