Close PayPal Account

Hi!

I created a Paypal account before I was 18 years old so it got locked due to be underage and I could no longer use it. I am now 20 and trying to reopen my account but i cant seem to find out how to do so. I was told I need to close it first to clear the history and then create a new account but when i try to close it, it states I am unable to close the account due to the restrictions.. Please help..

You won't be able to close a limited account created when you were underage.

The whole point of it being limited is to stop you using the same email addy or financial info on a new paypal account.

That does not mean you cannot open a new paypal account if paypal have said you can once you are over 18 but you have to use new info.
