I had a guy who threatened me when someone put a huge purchase on my account. I immediately within minutes asked to retract the sale as it was a mistake and I didntt authorize the buy. He was horrible. At the time I was so tense as I'm a collector he said pay or else. I had to pay in parts and 1. That's when I started getting screwed. I paid him 150(159. Total) in january. Sent as gifts. The last two payments topped off 500. He claimed there was a chargeback on the second ones. He thretened again. This was in feb to march. Paypal totally didn't help. In fact knowing now what they've told me would have changed everything! He demanded the product back. I said as long as the 158 is returned when I provude a tracking # and info that's fine. He would not agree becoming abusive. I neeless to say was just exhausted. However have an email promising he will west un money upon arrival of item. Never paid. I found out a week later. No chargeback. 500 stolen. Ebay can't help and now pp says soRry beyond our 45 says. Its funny do they understand sellers know they can prolong the screwing of sellers?! I was to told to call cops. This did not work. Honestly I'm disabled and small claims court ..its overwhelming. I cannot believe that paypal won't help. I have the proof. ??? Is anyone else feeling paypal is screwing us? What do I do now?

Why did you even start to pay?

If it was an ebay auction and you did not pay the worst that would happen was an unpaid item strike.

As it is you lost any paypal buyer protection by sending the payments as "gifts" anyway as a gift is just that a present to someone and you don't ask for gifts back again.

So if you had even filed within 45 days it would have been closed as you had not purchased anything or you would have used the goods option or paid an invoice.
