What to do if a buyer claims my product is a knock-off/fake, but is actually 100% real?

First time posting here so sorry if I broke any rules. Anyways I recently sold a pair of Nike sneakers that are 100% legit, but the buyer is claiming they're fake. He opened up a case without even contacting me and now I'm -$600 in my account...These shoes are from 2002, very rare, and worth a lot of money. How do I prove they are real besides my pictures? How will a PayPal employee be able to tell? They don't even make fakes of this colorway. The shoes are that rare to the point where manufacturers of fakes don't even know about their existence. I'm scared this guy is trying to scam me out of my money and shoes because he's in the UK while I'm from the USA. Worst part is this is the first time I ever sold and shipped to an international buyer. The way he's handling everything just has me sketched out. I just don't get how a Paypal employee is supposed to decide on a situation like this if they don't know anything about sneakers. Any help or advice is appreciated! Thanks for your time.

Normally the onus is on the buyer to provide written proof (either evidence from the manufacturer of the item or the equivalent of trading standards) before paypal will decide its a fake.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
