I reciently tried to use my PayPal to pay for Usenet (GIGANEWS). I was accused (by their protection software) of attempted fraud (quite a serious charge). This got me to thinking of how one sided the "Privacy" industry has become. My Email account is filling up with unsolicited junk. My Browser reads my emails and suggests products I may be interested in.
I believe that the source is the so called (several pages long) acceptance policys the so called "Service Providers" have manufactured for their own means (increasing revenue). I feel trapped by having to read a document little of which I understand and then be used by the same provider to undermine my privacy.
Anyone else concerned?
